What happens after my 5-day free trial ends?

Your Premium access begins immediately and lasts for 5 full days. A payment method is required to start your trial, but you won’t be charged during the trial period. If you don’t cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically continues at $9.99/month using the payment method you provided. If you cancel during your trial, you’ll keep Premium access until the end of the 5-day trial and won’t be charged.

Do I need to download anything from an app store?

No. MealWise is a Progressive Web App — open it in your browser and tap 'Add to Home Screen' on iOS or Android. It works offline and loads instantly, just like a native app.

Is my data private and secure?

Yes. Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, stored in our secure backend with row-level security. We never sell your data or share it with third parties.

How personalized are the meal plans?

Plans are tuned to your weight goals, calorie targets, macro split, allergies, dislikes, cooking time, and even what's in your pantry. We re-balance your week as your preferences and progress change.

Can I cancel anytime?

Yes. You can cancel or pause your subscription at any time from your account settings. If you cancel during your 5-day free trial, you’ll keep Premium access until the trial ends and won’t be charged. If you cancel after billing begins, you’ll continue to have Premium access until the end of your current billing period.

Does Kroger cost extra?

No. Kroger cart integration is included with your MealWise Premium subscription. Connect your Kroger account, review matched grocery items, and send approved products directly to your Kroger cart for pickup or delivery. Your grocery purchases are made through Kroger, and normal Kroger pricing and promotions apply.

Does it work for vegetarian, vegan, keto, or gluten-free diets?

Yes. MealWise supports all major dietary patterns including vegetarian, vegan, pescatarian, keto, paleo, gluten-free, dairy-free, and Mediterranean. You can combine multiple filters.
